The Greek Orthodox church in Beit Sahour. Easter Saturday saw the town's residents celebrating Easter. This year was quieter than usual as many pilgrims had stayed away. On Saturday the tradtional 'coming of the light' procession is held, where a lit torch is brought from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. This year we lamely joked if the soldiers were going to let it through the checkpoint unharmed.
