Archive: 2001-2008

Below are links to my original journal posts, starting from February 2001 when I had moved permanently to Israel and Palestine.

Following our return to London, within a few weeks our flat had been broken into and my laptop, that had survived almost three years of bombing and security searches, was stolen. On the hard drive was an enormous amount of written work, footage and images from Palestine and Israel, far more than is here.

Sadly, countless personal stories and accounts–from interviews with refugees talking about the Nakba, to prison experiences, to daily life and the toll occupation has taken, and much more–have all been lost. What remains, though, provides a glimpse of life during the painful and brutal years of the Intifada.
