Maloul is a destroyed village, a few miles from Nazareth. The village was destroyed by the Israelis when they declared the independent state of Israel. Villagers were systematically forced from their homes and denied the right to return. Some of the Arab villages were then razed to the ground to ensure that residents could never return to their homes.
